THREE premium home sites have been released at Peet’s Burns Beach estate within 140 metres of the ocean.

Two overlook the $1.8 million Foreshore Park, while the third affords a spectacular, unobstructed water vista.

The prospect of buying a large ocean-front block with park and ocean views was a major drawcard for Linda and Hannes Basson, who were also attracted to the new and modern lines of the estate’s homes.

The couple have medical practices which keep them time poor, so being closer to the beach was another major factor which enticed them to buy in the estate.

“It was a big thing for me to be on the oceanfront because, where we are at Ocean Reef, it’s quite a walk down to the beach,” Linda said.

“We’re always very busy, we don’t have a lot of time so even when I can find 20 minutes, I can’t really get to the beach.

“But when we move into our new place, I envisage at the end of the day it will be easy to nip to the beach, 20 minutes will get me down to the beach, have a swim, cool off and be back home.”

The Bassons’ architect, Daniel Walton, has positioned their two-storey house on the block to maximise the views of the park and ocean. “We have a nice house with beautiful views in Ocean Reef at the moment and it was important to us to find somewhere with similar views,” Linda said.
